Dr. Najiah Faour, DPM, provides high-quality and compassionate care to patients suffering from foot and ankle ailments at Premier Foot & Ankle with offices in McKinney, Dallas, Frisco, Allen, Mesquite, Celina, Sherman, and Plano, Texas. Dr. Faour sees patients at the Frisco and Celina locations.

Dr. Faour was raised in Burlington, Vermont. Passionate about healthcare, Dr. Faour has been in the industry since age 16. She began her medical career as an EMT, volunteering her time at the University of Vermont (UVM) rescue squad and working full time at a level 1 trauma center to further her education.

She received her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in molecular genetics from The University of Vermont (UVM), located in South Burlington. 

In 2000, Dr. Faour earned her podiatric medicine doctorate from The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. After obtaining her doctorate, she completed a PM&S-36 at Alliance Community Hospital in Alliance, Ohio, as the first female graduate. During her last year, she served as a chief resident.

She worked full-time as a Foot and Ankle Physician and Surgeon for CAO-Robinwood Division, one of the largest orthopedic groups in the United States. 

During her career with CAO, Dr. Faour specialized in trauma care, limb salvage, and revisional surgery. She was heavily involved in her community as a sponsor of the running community, a lecturer on diabetic foot care, and a lecturer on congenital pediatric foot diagnosis and management.

An energetic doctor who cares deeply about her community and patients, Dr. Faour believes in preventive care and education. Despite her extensive surgical background, she doesn’t resort to surgery as an initial course of treatment.

When she isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Faour returns to her home in Flower Mound, Texas, with her three beautiful children. She enjoys spending quality time with her kids, jogging, going to the gym, traveling, eating out, and movies.
