Our Doctor - Jaryl G. Korpinen, D.P.M.

Dr. Jaryl Korpinen graduated from the Austin College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He then attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco. During his education, he had the opportunity to work at the Veterans Hospital in San Francisco and treat Marines at Camp Pendleton in San Diego. After receiving his degree in Podiatric Medicine, he completed a surgical residency at the Harris County Surgical Residency Program in Houston. Upon completing residency in 2001, he began private practice in Plano and has since expanded to McKinney.

Dr. Korpinen is Board Qualified and an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. As a former collegiate basketball player, he has a special interest in Sports Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He also is a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management. Dr. Korpinen is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He routinely discusses foot problems on radio stations, various local hospitals, newspapers, television, and works at the White Rock Marathon each year.

Dr. Korpinen grew up in Plano and currently calls McKinney home. He is married and has two children. He enjoys spending time with his family, basketball, golf, coaching his kids, and running.

Allison Shuck - Practice Manager

Allison joined Premier Foot and Ankle in 2005. As Practice Manager, she has many duties and is also the surgery coordinator. She has been a member of the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management and is certified in Medical Practice Management. Prior to being office manager, she held other positions at Premier Foot and Ankle and also trained as a Podiatric Radiology Medical Assistant. Allison also has a strong background in billing, HIPPA compliance, and medical coding. She frequently attends educational conferences on Practice Management and insurance seminar. She is married and has a dog named Bella. She enjoys traveling, spending time with family, exercise and helping patients.

Mary Bortnyk - Billing Coordinator

Mary has been with Premier Foot and Ankle since 2006. She brings billing experience from the largest Gastroenterologist group in Dallas. Like Allison, she is constantly striving to stay up on the forefront of all the healthcare changes and attends educational conferences. She enjoys living in Dallas, but has roots from Virginia. She has two wonderful children and enjoys traveling and rooting for Virginia Tech.

Susan Murphy - Receptionist

After years of customer service, Susan joined Premier Foot and Ankle in 2008. She enjoys exercising and has run the White Rock and Oklahoma City Marathon. Her husband and two boys graduated from the University of Oklahoma and they love O.U. football. She enjoys traveling abroad and the beach.

Jacqueline Rocha - Certified Medical Assistant

Upon completing her education at PCI Health Training Center with a degree in Medical Assisting, Jackie joined Premier Foot and Ankle in 2008. She assists Dr. Korpinen in office procedures and all aspects of patient care. She is originally from Colima, Mexico and therefore always enjoys helping our Spanish speaking patients. She is trained as a Podiatric Radiology Medical Assistant. Her interests includes travel and spending time with her friends and family.

Jacqueline Rocha - Asistente Médico Certificado

Al término de su educación en PCI Salud Centro de Formación con un título en Asistencia Médica, Jackie se unió al primer ministro del pie y tobillo en 2008. Ella asiste el Dr. Korpinen en los procedimientos de la oficina y todos los aspectos del cuidado del paciente. Valerie Vasquez - Certified Medical Assistant

Like Jackie, Valerie joined Premier Foot and Ankle after graduating from PCI Health Training Center in 2009. She completed her internship with us and was hired immediately after. She assists Dr. Korpinen in all aspects of patients care such as in office procedures and patient education. She lives in Carrollton with four beautiful children. She loves spending time with her family and friends.
