Located in the furthest reaches of northern Collin County, Anna is swiftly nearing a population of 10,000. Still settled as a more rural environment, residential construction continues, though many home lots are larger than those in suburbs closer to the center of the Dallas Metroplex. Anna is perhaps the furthest suburb to the north of Dallas still offering an easy commute to larger cities while giving residents the feel of removal from the fast pace of an urban atmosphere.
